Creating Your Vision

"Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one" Albert Einstein

I feel that one of the most important ingredients in your formula for success is having a clearly defined and vivid vision of where you want to be. At first the “how” is not that important, you need to create a vision that gets you so excited that you develop the mentality that you will stop at nothing to get what you want. Many people first focus on the how than very quickly find themselves overwhelmed with too many details and just as quickly talk them selves out of pursuing their goals. You have to take a leap of faith and trust that the how will be shown to you as you go along. Do you remember the days as a kid with dreams of epic proportions? What happened those dreams? You got older and domesticated by a society that says that having those dreams is foolish. That’s nonsense, why wouldn’t you want to accomplish the things that even as a kid you knew would make you happy. I encourage you to dream like you once used to

“Shoot for the moon…even if you

Miss you’ll still be amongst them stars”- Beanie Sigel(rap artist)

One way I keep myself motivated and keep my vision alive is through my picture book. In my book I have everything that I want and every morning I look at it to remind me what I want in life. Go right now and get some magazines and cut out every picture of the things you want and places you want to visit, don’t be thinking if you can actually get those things now, dare to dream. Remember your mind thinks in pictures, look at your picture book until in becomes as vivid as possible in the theater of your mind. Your mind cant tell the difference between something you remember or something you experience in real time.

Visualization Exercises(meditation):

(Please read this whole section, I will explain why almost all self help fails to produce the results people want)

You can think of meditation as conscious sleeping. Just as you sleep to gain energy for your daily functioning, meditation is conscious sleeping that gives you all the energy(creative abilities) you need for what you intend to accomplish.

I also use lucid dreaming as another way to increase creativity, I will soon write a hub on lucid dreaming.(Lucid dreaming is when you actually become aware in your dream that you are dreaming, once properly trained you can control your dreams)

About GetaFreelancer.com

GetaFreelancer.com is one of the leading freelance websites, an ideal place to find freelance web designers, developers, copywriters and even translators and marketing specialists. Alternatively, if you provide any of these services you can join the site and bid for work.
GetaFreelancer is highly useful for Service Buyers – companies looking to outsource web design and marketing work. Service Providers is the name given to those individuals and companies which bid on projects and therefore provide the service. It’s a highly competitive area, with Service Providers located all across the world, from Eastern Europe, to India and the Philippines. As a consequence an excellent cost-savings can be made.
As a general rule when outsourcing work you’re looking for two things – quality work done at any affordable rate. GetaFreelancer satisfies both of these requirements. Service Providers bid on projects, with bids usually visible, thereby encouraging Service Providers to undercut each other. As a Service Buyer you can be assured that you’re receiving excellent rates.
However, GetaFreelancer is equally useful when assessing the quality of Service Providers. There’s an excellent feedback system so you can reliably assess whether someone is likely to be reliable and deliver a good job.
How does GetaFreelancer.com work in practice?
Post the details of your project –the project can the post under up to 5 categories. Make sure you write a full description, and you’ll also need to select a budget range and how long you wish the bidding to stay open for.
After your project has expired you have 3 days to select a Service Provider.
Once the work has been done you can login to your account and provide feedback on the Service Provider that you used.
GetaFreelancer.com Costs & Optional Extras
There are a couple of extra features, such as the ability to hide all bids and also hide your project from the search engines. This costs $3 but is often worth doing if you don’t want to give away anything to your competitors.
In terms of the standard costs you have to pay a refundable fee of $5 when posting a project. This is to ensure that all projects are valid and are not simply company advertisements or breaking the terms and conditions in some other way such as by posting contact details. For completed projects a small commission is charged – 3% commission or $3, whichever one is greater.
There are a couple of optional extras that you can choose. The main one is setting your project as featured. This costs $25 and is useful if you have an especially large project and want the top Service Providers to bid but as a general rule you’ll get more than enough bids when you don’t feature your project.
You can also choose to become a Gold Member for $12 a month. If you’re a regular user this is certainly beneficial – you pay no commissions and as a Service Provider you have a higher chance of winning a project as 75% of all projects are won by Gold Members.
All in all GetaFreelancer.com is certainly highly recommended if you're looking for a low cost and reliable freelancer.

Review on EU Freelance

EU Freelance is the latest innovation from GetAFreelancer. Using the same layout and functionality of GetAFreelancer, EU Freelance allows invididuals to bid and secure freelance jobs in the Euro currency. For those of us living in Europe and having Euro as our currency this is great especially when you consider that the dollar is not worth as much as it used to be.
If I secure a freelance writing job that pays me $300, all I am really getting is Euro236. This is what makes EU Freelance so appealing to me. I love the fact that when I bid on the jobs I am not trying to convert Euro to Dollars to see what to bid. Besides this however, what is EU Freelance and how does it compare to all the other bidding websites out there.
EU Freelance Explained
EU Freelance is another bidding website similar to Elance, Guru, and the likes. It is a jobs portal where freelancers can go to bid on writing assignments in the hope of getting them. Like most other freelance jobs websites you receive a number of bids each month. Signing up with EU Freelance is free and new members are entitled to 15 bids per month. You also have the option of becoming a Gold member. A Gold memberships cost just €12 per month, you get 150 bids per month, and you don’t have to pay any commissions on projects you complete. Gold members are seen as higher quality and their bids are marked with a “G” to show this.
The features on this freelance jobs website are similar to GetAFreelancer, the only difference is that because all bids are in Euro the jobs are more high paying. I have secured a number of jobs on this website and I have to say I am impressed so far. The difference in price is what really does it for me and for any other writers with Euro currency it will be the same. Even if you live in the UK your bids will be worth more. Currently £150 is $250 and €176. Bearing this is mind, if you want to earn £150 you have to secure a job worth $250 which can be quite difficult in the bidding wars. On the other hand, if you choose to use EUFreelance all you have to bid is €176 to receive the same amount.
I personally think that EUFreelance has what it takes to be a very successful website but only time will tell. Below is a link to the most recent 50 jobs that have been posted on this site. Happy bidding everyone and don’t forget, membership is free.
